How much networking is too much?

    If you are networking so much that you cannot do proper timely follow through with the people you meet, stop meeting so many new people. There is a fallacy that you cannot meet too many people. If you meet people who want to follow through with a one on one, but then you forget about them, you are doing worse than not following up–you are forgetting them and they will remember your lack of follow through more so than if you had met and not agreed to have a one on one. So, bottom line, network enough to keep your prospect list full so you can avoid large cold calling activities. Don’t network so much that you cannot have sales appointments.
